Hrastovac's teacher following Wilhelm Ebersold. Moved into the brand new one-room  school building, attached with a three bedroom teacher's apartment.  Johann Haas was the last teacher sent from Krischona monastery in Switzerland.  Was very influential for the village life and community.  Died at his only daughter's Emilie home in Lexa in Brsljanica.

Kehl Michael Born 1822 in Mekényes. Came to Hrastovac in 1872 from Gerényes with wife Ami Jung (*1829 in Gerényes) and their three sons Michael, Johann and Jakob.  Lived in house #28. After his death in 1871 from poisoning his son Michael, (*1853), took over the household, who married Elisabeth Buchenauer a year later. Ami married Martin Wagner in 1875 and the house was sold. Ami and Martin first lived at #108 and later moved to Franjevac, taking son Jakob with them.
